Seasonal Nature Experience


This is how we spend time in nature here. Some days are for snow and silence, others for berries, wandering the forest or catching the evening light. A seasonal half-day outdoors, shared with a local host and shaped by the day.

Sinipiika 1 hh

Sinipiika is our smallest room, best suited for one person.

The Sinipiika room has a 120 cm wide bed, a small shelf for belongings and a writing desk by the window overlooking the backyard. It's perfect for solo travelers but it can accommodate two travelers who prefer sleeping close together .

  • The price includes breakfast, bed linens, towels and bathrobes, use of shower facilities, parking, and room cleaning.

Sinipiika is a beautiful and ethereal forest maiden who is said to appear to hunters by the evening campfire. However, it is told that the back of the Sinipiika is hollow or dark with bark-like scales. 

Kratti 1 - 2 hh

Kratti is an other one of our smaller rooms, suitable for 1 - 2 travellers.

Room accommodates two people in a 140 cm wide double bed. There's also a small table for belongings and writing desk. Kratti is suitable for solo travelers and couples.

Kratti is an old, wailing ghost who is said to be guarding a hidden treasure buried in the ground. It is also said that when having good relations with Kratti, it might be possible to get a small portion of the treasure for oneself.

Mielikki 2 + 2 hh

Mielikki is our biggest room with two separate beds and a couch which may be opened for an extra bed for one or two kids.

Mielikki is suitable for friends or families as it offers two separate beds and a sofa that can be opened for an extra bed. There is a small shelf for clothes and belongings. The sofa, armchair and coffee table create a cozy seating area.

Mielikki is the hostess of the forest, responsible for tidying up and decorating the forest and maintaining its beautiful landscapes. It is said that at times Mielikki wears her husbands Taipo's gray moss coat, making her look like a stooped old person when walking through the forest, gathering her berry harvest.
